What is the difference in the EMT & Paramedic NREMT Study Guides and the topic specific study guides?

The EMT NREMT Study Guide and the Paramedic NREMT Study Guide are comprehensive all topics while focusing on the "high points" or "nuts and bolts" of the major topics (trauma, medical, cardiac, respiratory, pharmacology, EMS operations) in preparation for the NREMT exam. The topic specific study guides are a much more detailed review of that individual topic and focuses on more than the "nuts and bolts." Topic specific study guides are great for the student who needs a detailed review of a particular topic or receives a "below passing" or "near passing" score on a topic on the NREMT.

Why should I attend the course or choose you for tutoring?

Adam and Brandon have a combined 30+ years of experience in paramedic education and as paramedic providers. Together, their clinical experience includes inner-city fire-based EMS, rural EMS, tiered service EMS, hospital-based flight paramedicine, and tactical EMS. Additionally, Adam has clinical experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse and Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner. Their paramedic programs have consistently produced first-time pass rates that are well above state and national averages. Together, they teach an engaging and comprehensive "crash course" style review for the EMT or Paramedic exam.

What happens if I have to cancel, I am late, or do not show for the tutoring lesson?

Life happens, and we understand that. If you need to cancel, just e-mail us before the start of the lesson. Your 1 hour tutoring credit will not be effected.

You will have up to 10 minutes from the start of the lesson to appear or you will be considered a no-show (see below). The 1 hour time frame starts at the time the lesson was agreed upon to begin. If the lesson was scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and you arrive at 9:08 a.m., you are already 8 minutes into your lesson.

If you do not show for the lesson (> 10 minutes late), your one hour payment will be forfeited. There are other students who also need tutoring time, in an effort to protect our time and the student's, no-shows will be charged. The instructor will wait in the meeting room for 10 minutes past the lesson time and will then exit.
